Wide Dynamic Range 280:1
A human eye can adjust itself, to see objects over a large range of light conditions. The range is greater than 1000:1. A normal CCD camera has difficulty adjusting to large light variations, because its dynamic range is 3:1. The M63W1 is 90 times better than a standard CCD camera.

High Smear Rejection 154dB
Normal CCD cameras when exposed to very bright light will bloom and make it difficult to see parts of the image. The M63W1 camera will reduce this smear effect.

Cameras has 48 zones to sample for bright light levels. This enables the camera to display a good foreground image at the centre or sides of camera frame.
