GPS48S1 is a self contained GPS unit with current Australian maps. The unit has a colour 4.8 inch TOUCH screen and inbuilt GPS aerial. GPS software and maps are from iGO. Maps cover all major cities and roads around Australia giving auto routing and voice guidance, POI and speed camera alerts. Address information is through touch screen keyboard, very easy. Extra features include Bluetooth, FM transmitter and audio music player. The Bluetooth feature allows connection to mobile phone for a hands free phone operation. Download your favorite songs and replay them through your car stereo via the FM inbuilt transmitter.
This unit has a wired video camera input which means you can apply a rearview camera to the unit and it will automatically switch to the camera screen.
